Mr. Inayet Hadi a recent MPA graduate founded and is the President of the "Afghanistan Fine Jewelry, LLC" (Company) since 2007. The Company is located in the state of Colorado to increase trade and commerce between Afghanistan and USA.
The Jeweler who hand fashions the 92.5% sterling silver and natural precious stones into wearable art is Norigha Safi. Mr. Safi is an young married artist with beautiful children. Mr. Safi's is the 3rd generation jeweler who has mastered transforming metal and stones into beautiful wearable art.
Mr. Hadi was on a graduate fellowship at the Kabul University's newly established Institute of Public Policy and Administration (KU IPPA) during the Summer of 2007. The KU IPPA was Afghanistan's first master level program in public administration and policy in Afghanistan's history. The fellowship was facilitated by the Washington State University's Center to Bridge the Digital Divide through the Afghan eQuality Alliances (AeQA) program. The AeQA program was funded by the United States Agency of International Development (USAID). Mr. Hadi assisted the visiting professor from a Japanese university to teach at the institute. He helped the first batch of students with their research papers. In addition, Mr. Hadi was responsible for researching reference materials for six courses being offered at the KU IPPA. Mr. Hadi also took the initiative in starting the localization of a Student Handbook for the KU IPPA.
The primary reason for establishing this Company is to share the fine handmade silver jewelry inlaid with natural precious stones from Afghanistan with Americans. To implement that goal, Mr. Hadi created this website and has jewelry show-case at independent retail stores in Colorado.
